The following are links associated with the Converse College art appreciation course. The purpose of this course is to be an introduction to the visual arts with focus on artistic technique and styles, representative artists and works of the major periods and movements, and common art forms and genres found in the world of art. It is intended to introduce general education students to basic techniques and concepts about art and to expand their personal growth and involvement with the visual world.
