LA Trip – December 2005

After having several years of going abroad over the Christmas break, David and I had the opportunity of visiting Los Angeles. We had lived there prior to our move to South Carolina and David’s cousins and one aunt and uncle still live there. We had two other reasons for wanting to return to LA. First, another of David’s aunts and uncles were in the US touring several Western national parks and was planning to spend the rest of their holiday in LA. And second, our mentor for our studies lives in the LA area and had invited us out to visit. The trip to LA took place after Christmas and over the New Years holiday. David’s mum, Margaret, made the trip with us, so we had all of David’s family together at this time.
