1999 Show Season

This was the first year we really started to show in earnest. While I generally handled Baron, David handled our new addition, Zoe. She had much more potential than the boy, but both had their moments. In January, we drove to Sarasota, Florida and at a supported entry by the local Pyr club, both took Reserve. Then on the next day, Zoe went BOW and to earn 2 points – the most at any one time so far! In May, we purchased a 32ft-Class-C motorhome and outfitted it for showing. We started to go a bit further a-field, going to Hampton, Virginia, Atlanta, and Hilton Head, South Carolina. At Hilton Head, Baron took BOB with Zoe BOS over several other Pyrs. It was exciting to see him and David together in the Working Group ring! Then, in July at the local Greenville Shows, Baron earned his first major, by going BOW! In October, David, his Mum, Uncle Clifford, and Aunt Pearl made a cross country trip in the RV to California. They took Zoe with them and even showed her a couple days at the San Louis Obispo area.
