2000 Show Season

This was a fairly busy year for us. While we no longer showed Baron and Kes, we were showing Zoe. She was just starting to mature, and while there were never enough bitches around to build a major, she generally walked away with a set of ribbons from the shows – especially Best of Opposite Sex. Also, during this year, we took often attended Sanctioned Matches held by local kennel clubs. These proved to be a great way to practice our handling skills, socialize the dogs, and meet with friends. Finally, while Baron and Kes were no longer being shown in conformation, they were still active in the dog world, with both earning their Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate.
